ATP Hydraulik GmbH moving from Küssaberg (Baden-Württemberg) to Wolfertschwenden (Bayern), Germany.
We were elated and filled with gratitude as we celebrated our 40th anniversary.
ATP Hydraulik GmbH in Küssaberg, Germany was established.
After a construction time of only one year, ATP Hydraulik, with its 86 employees, moved into the new facility in Küssnacht. By now sales had risen to a height of 28 million Swiss Francs.
Again space was getting limited at ATP: after all, there were now 78 employees working at the site. A plan was made to start on a new building site in Küssnacht.
An “open-house” was held, celebrating 30 years of ATP Hydraulik. We had the pleasure of welcoming many customers, prospects and visitors to our premises.
ATP Hydraulik made its first foray overseas with supplying turnkey ready products to a steel mill in Chile.
Sales exceeded ten million francs and ATP employed a staff of 40 and obtained ISO 9001 certification. A move into a new production hall followed.
This year was characterised by various extensions. Offices and warehouses were enlarged, more space was made available for customer service and more test stands were added.
ATP Hydraulik increased its production depth and invested in a CNC lathe and two machining centres. This meant that the company had reached a technological milestone.
IT and CAD had in the meantime become important working and planning tools. An additional warehouse was created and the hall expanded. Now in existence for 15 years, ATP employed 23 people.
Move to Rotkreuz. ATP invested in additional real estate and in machinery. Distributor contracts with major suppliers were signed, and by now ATP already employed eight people.
Heinrich Schwerzmann laid the corner stone for the company in Küssnacht. He represented various well-known companies, and it resulted in steady growth.
